Week Two

Week Twozy the doozy. Not a whole lot has changed from week one, but the ambassador assignments seem to slowly be trickling in as professors and faculty members start to fully embrace the reality of the online environment. I started writing a little script for a recorded video i'll be doing for new E-Media students today. I'll probably record it sometime in the next few days since it's due on September 11th and it is currently September 4th. I had another successful welcome desk shift on Thursday and was able to answer some questions, transfer some calls, hand out some parking passes, and direct a plethora of new students to the bookstore. I tried to get a little more involved in my synchronous class earlier this week by participating more in the chat, but it still doesn't compare to the experience of being on campus.

I was able to finish the video project I talked about last week and it turned out great! The coworkers I had at the non-profit loved it and it's currently up on their instagram as promotional material. That does mark the end of the internship though, and now that it's over i've got a little extra time on my hands so hopefully i'll be starting a new project soon since I can't seem to keep still. It's possible that school will keep me busy enough though, I have yet to find out how challenging this online semester will be!
