Week Twelve

This week was a little wild because I had to get somebody to cover my welcome desk shift because I was feeling a little sick. I got a covid-19 test and after a few days of waiting, I got the results and they said that i'm positive. As of right now I feel fine, but I can't really taste or smell anything which is very bizarre. It's weird to eat foods that I previously enjoyed because everything is essentially reduced down to just it's texture and a lot of it is pretty unpleasant.

Aside from that, I attended an event with Luis where we talked with prospective students about what it's like to be a first year student. We shared our experiences and the students asked really good questions. Kate Bumhoffer, who was in charge of the event, said that it was the best one that she's had yet. Overall this weeks been a rollercoaster.
