Week One

Spring semester, here we go! Just like that, winter break is over. It was very refreshing to have some time off but i'm ready to get the ball rolling again and get this semester underway. I've got a few classes i'm excited about this semester and some I hope will prove any doubts I have about them wrong. I'm taking my capstone course for my associates degree this semester, and I anticipate that it's going to be quite a bit of work. I've chosen to do a video project for the class, and I think i've decided that I'm going to change the original idea I had because of the weather in the winter, and because it will be difficult to accomplish with covid. I have blocked off my calendar for tomorrow to write a completely new script for my project, and i'm both excited and nervous to see what I can come up with, especially in such a time crunch.

This week I only emailed back and forth with a student who I mentored last semester, and that was the only event of any kind I did. A slow start to the semester, but that's not such a bad thing.
